I was saddened to read the letter published in The Republic on May 19 complaining about the collaborative work with the Bartholomew County School Corp. and the NAACP to help students succeed.
BCSC should be praised for their effort to improve equal access to high quality education for people of color.
I believe that, if everyone did their homework, they would see that our society is riddled with unequal treatment of people. Working to reduce racial inequality is what it means to be antiracist.
