Panthers take tri match
MADISON — Jennings County opened its season Tuesday with a tri-match win at Sunrise Golf Course.
The Panthers finished with a 194 team total. Madison took second with a 203, and Shawe Memorial was third with a 220.
Sophia Curry and Alexis Carson each shot 42 to lead Jennings. Lauren Galvan carded a 50, Emma Kirchner added a 60 and Emma Jones had a 63.
Lancers open with win
EDINBURGH — Izzy Richardson won medalist honors with a 53 to lead Edinburgh to a 229-244 season-opening win against Morristown at Timbergate.
Hannah Pile carded a 55 for the Lancers. Jillian Turner added a 58, Macie Blandford shot 63 and Cloee Britton had a 67.
