COLUMBUS
Randy J. Wells, 68, of Columbus, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 8:21 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Wells was born September 17, 1953, in Columbus, the son of Thomas O. and Willie P. Aaron Wells.
He married Lori A. Cunningham, November 13, 1993.
Randy was a 1972 graduate of Columbus High School.
He was a sports enthusiast and was a fan of the New York Yankees and enjoyed playing pool.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry W. Ballard officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Lori of 28 years; his mother, Willie P. Casey; children, Miranda Wells of Greenwood, Tyler Wells of Nineveh and James (Jennifer) Wells of North Vernon and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
