Ray A Jacobs, born on August 14, 1924 in Birdseye, Indiana, passed away on September 7, 2021 in Naples, Florida, at the age of 97.
His family moved to Columbus, Indiana when he was six. He married Marjorie Mae Battin on March 29, 1947. He was predeceased by his wife and daughter, Vicki Jane Hall.
He is survived by his son, Steven Ray Jacobs (Susan Thorp Jacobs), grandchildren Denton Cunningham (Melissa Daniel) Jacobs and Briana Nicole Jacobs and great-granddaughter, Francesca Elise Jacobs.
He proudly served in World War II. and owned his own business in Columbus, Indiana from 1960 until he retired to Naples Florida in the late 80’s.
