COLUMBUS
Danielle F. Bunch, 26, of Columbus, passed away at 12:42 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her home after a lengthy battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Danielle was born July 26, 1995, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of William K. Bunch and Kimberly F. Prather.
Danielle graduated from Columbus Signature Academy in 2014. She then went on to attend I.U. Southeast and graduated with an Associates Degree from Ivy Tech to become an Advanced Functions Dental Assistant. She also liked to attend the Community Church of Columbus. Danielle cherished her family, friends and pets. Going out to eat, hanging out with her friends, traveling, amusement park thrill rides and roller coasters were some of Danielle’s favorite things to do.
Survivors include her mother, Kimberly F. Prather of Columbus; father, William K. Bunch of Williams, IN; brother, Cody Bunch, also of Columbus; half-sisters, Megan (Brian) Griffin of Henryville, Ashley Bunch; half-brother, Christopher Bunch, both of Louisville, KY; grandfather, David Prather of Columbus; grandmother, Delorise Bunch of Bedford; step-grandmother, Susie Prather of Columbus; six uncles and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ella F. Speer and grandfather, William H. Bunch.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Aaron Poole officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. The family states that masks are not required but recommended for the safety of all who attend.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
