NORTH VERNON
Debra (McInteer) Hatcher previously of North Vernon, IN passed away January 24, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. Debbie will be cremated in Winter Haven, and buried in North Vernon at a later time with a private service for the family. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Hatcher (2020) and Larry Purdue (1995).
She leaves behind three children Tony (Gail) Cathey of Gulfport, FL; Missy (Dan) Weller of Belton, SC and Kay (Jeremy)Endsley of Groveland FL and two Step-children Angie (Larry) Burton of Hayden, IN and James(Alicia)Hatcher.
She also leaves behind nine granddaughters Bridgette (Joe), Krystal (JB), Alyssa, Samantha, Alexa (James), Kayla, Sierra (Grant), Jenessa (Isabella) and Amy. Along with great-grand children Lexi, Jaxon, Grayson, Sophie, Danika, Serenity and Beau.
Debbie was number eight of nine children born to Herschel and Dorothy McInteer. She was preceded in death by both parents; as well as her siblings Samuel, Mike, Ronald, Kenneth and Donna.
She is survived by siblings Betty(Bill) Rutan, Carolyn (John) Baldwin and Tom (Missy) McInteer.
Retired, and following the death of her beloved, Debbie spent the previous year traveling between her children and enjoying the time with her family. She will be missed deeply and those that knew her will definitely miss her jokes and laughs.
