Columbus Christian falls
DAYTON, Tenn. — Columbus Christian opened play in the National Association of Christian Athletes Division 6 Tournament with a 39-36 loss to the Cincinnati Warriors.
Noah Edwards led the Crusaders (20-18) with 14 points. Peyton Rehlander scored 10, and Gabe Ridder added eight.
Columbus Christian will play Bradley Homeschool from Tennessee in the consolation round at 1 p.m. today. The Crusders then will play for fifth or seventh place on Friday.
Patriots oust Eagles
ELLETTSVILLE — Brown County saw its season come to an end with a 66-28 loss to Owen Valley in the first round of the Class 3A Edgewood Sectional.
The Patriots (9-12) advance to play Northview in the semifinals. The Eagles finish the season 2-20.
