COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Emergency Management announced this morning that all roads are now open following the flooding that occurred from the rainfall earlier this week.
However, Emergency Management Director Shannan Cooke added a weather update that snow and cold temperatures are expected Friday into Saturday this week.
The National Weather Service is predicting that light snow will begin Friday, with a mix of rain and snow throughout the state changing to snow.
Bartholomew County is predicted to receive 2 to 3 inches of snow. Temperatures will dip to a wind chill of 2 to 3 degrees Friday night into Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs Saturday are predicted to be in the 20s.
