Donna Faye Griffin, 67, of Columbus, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 at her home.
Donna was born March 31, 1955, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Henry and Roberta Fields Shirley. On July 24, 1976, she married Larry Griffin, Sr.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry; children, Jennifer (Chad) Leonard, Larry (Haven) Griffin, Jr., Harvey Griffin, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Brooks Robbins, Noah Leonard, Shaylee Griffin, Kira Nickerson, Hunter Griffin, Emma K. Griffin, Arcadia Griffin; siblings, Virginia (Phillip) Wells of Columbus, Rita (Jerry) Barnhart of Scipio, Joyce Barns, Patricia Shirley, Judy (Tom) Biedenkopf, Barbara (Donnie) Griffin, all of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Norman Clements.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Jerry Barnhart officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
