Woodward
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Historical Society will partner with the Indiana Hospital Association on a special event welcoming Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Bob Woodward to Indianapolis.
“Founders Day: An Evening with Bob Woodward” takes place Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, located at 450 W. Ohio St. in Indianapolis. This program will serve as a benefit for IHS’s statewide educational programs and services.
The evening is scheduled as follows:
- 5:30 p.m.: Reception in Kruse Family Stardust Terrace
- 6 p.m.: Dinner in Eli Lilly Hall
- 7:30 p.m.: Lecture in Frank and Katrina Basile Theater

As the award-winning investigative journalist and associate editor of The Washington Post, Woodward won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for his work with Carl Bernstein on the Watergate scandal. In addition, Woodward was the main reporter for the Post’s articles on the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks that won the National Affairs Pulitzer Prize in 2002.
