In regard to Michael Leppert’s guest column of Dec. 31 (“‘Don’t say gay’ bills aim to limit teaching”), I believe he’s engaging in the very thing he’s accusing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis of: grandstanding for a particular issue of today.
To suggest that parents have no right to teach morality to their kids by affecting change in public schools is certainly amoral.
Mr. Leppert has and (probably often) shown your readership how he’s teetering on falling off the very far, far left. The printed page still hangs around for a long time even though it’s newsprint.
