COLUMBUS
Kenny E. Hundley, 83, of Columbus, passed from this life at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Hundley was born September 25, 1939, in Columbus, the son of Lucian and Beryl Roscoe Hundley.
He married Carol Lee Hooker, October 12, 1957.
He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1987 after 28 years of service and thereafter owned and operated a precision measuring business in Florida which serviced the aerospace industry.
Kenny was a well-known exceptional golfer, who loved the game. He was very competitive and enjoyed playing ping-pong, horseshoes, pool, or anything with his kids and grandchildren.
He was very proud of his family who he enjoyed spending time with along with his many friends.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years; children, Kristy Lee (Richard) Hess of Washington, Becky (Brent) Church of Columbus, Kenneth (Dena) Hundley II of Florida, Greg (Betsy) Hundley of Columbus, Steve (Tracy) Hundley of Florida and Randy Hundley of Columbus; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Susan) Hundley, Michael (Gloria) Hundley and Robin (Sandy) Hundley all of Columbus; and a sister, Kathy (Gordon) Rodgers of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jimmy Hundley, Keith Hundley and twin brother, Robert Hundley.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Martin E. Wright and John Hundley officiating.
A time of visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday February 14, 2023 and 9:00 a.m. to time of service.
He will be laid to rest at the Garland Brook Cemetery.
