NORTH VERNON
Gloria M. Haislup, 82, of North Vernon, passed from this life at 5:20 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, surrounded by family at her home.
Mrs. Haislup was born January 1, 1941, in Columbus, the daughter of Stanley and Mary Jane McGee White.
She married Ronald L. Haislup October 6, 1962.
Gloria was a homemaker, a former school bus monitor with BCSC and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years; children, Clayton Haislup of Key West, Florida, Loucinda (Mark) Tolliver of New York, Dorcas (Adam) Ruddick of North Vernon and Nathan Haislup of North Vernon; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; brothers, Dicky (Linda) White of Columbus and Billy (Diana) White both of Columbus; and a sister, Sheila Skobel of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Troy Lee Haislup; brothers, Robert, David and Kenneth White; and a sister, Bonnie Stephens.
In keeping with the families wishes, cremation will take place.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, in section 82 west at Garland Brook Cemetery.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at Columbus Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Tim McConnell officiating.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 1:30 p.m. to time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Worldwide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
