COLUMBUS
Thomas E. Ritchey, 63, of Columbus, passed from this life at 3:51 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Ritchey was born July 30, 1959, in Greensburg, Indiana, the son of John E. and Patricia L. Forway Ritchey.
He married Linda G. Ziegler February 5, 2005.
Tom was a retired truck driver and he enjoyed tractor pulls, spending time with his grandkids and visiting with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, David (Lisa) Romine of Columbus, Cale (Krystal) Romine of Columbus, April (Jeremiah) King of Indianapolis and Beth King of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Charles Romine, Abie Romine, Kloie Penrose, Kaleb Penrose, Prince King, Sir-Nolan King, Aiden King and Owen King.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lynn Ritchey.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Marcus Speer officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
Thomas will be laid to rest at the Garland Brook Cemetery.
