The Bartholomew County Highway Department and contractors have announced the following road closings, beginning together and continuing into next week.
–The highway department will be doing full width chip seal overlay on Youth Camp Road between County Roads 750W and 875W, as well as 750W from Youth Camp Road to Poplar Drive at Grandview Lake on Friday. Both roads will be closed to traffic until finished. Closure will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
–Dave O’Mara Contracting will close the Indianapolis Road/Lindsey Street roundabout on Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
–County Road 700S, west of 100W, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday for repaving, weather permitting. As this is a dead-end road, no thru-traffic will be allowed.
— County Road 700W, between Baker Hollow and Georgetown Roads, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for repaving, weather permitting. Long delays are possible as this is full-width paving and no thru-traffic will be allowed.
— County Road 400S-850W, between County Line and Bellsville Road, will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday for tree removal. The road will be completely closed to all traffic.
