BLOOMINGTON — Columbus Christian volleyball beat Cannelton 19-25, 25-23, 15-11 before falling to Bloomington Lighthouse 25-20, 25-8 in Saturday’s Southern Roads Conference Tournament.
Bella Frederickson pounded nine kills, Emma Sewell recorded six assists, Emma Murray had two solo blocks, Yanna Foster notched seven digs and Paige Harden served three aces to lead the Crusaders (2-13).
Also for Columbus Christian, Murray tallied eight kills and four digs, Foster added four kills and Abby Dora had two assists and three aces. Mara Nickerson collected one assist, and Frederickson and Harden each added four digs.
