GREENFIELD — Edinburgh won three matches to make it to the championship game and finished runner-up in Saturday’s Cougar Challenge.
The Lancers beat Waldron 19-25, 25-22, 16-14; Pike 22-25, 25-20, 16-14 and Warren Central 25-20, 25-23 before falling to Batesville 25-20, 25-23 in the title game.
Edinburgh’s Zoey Sida, Jessica Walsh and MacKenzie Bieker were named to the All-Tournament team.
Kenna Streeval recorded 23 kills and 80 digs, and Kyah Streeval had 93 assists and four aces to lead the Lancers (9-12). Bieker notched five blocks.
Also for Edinburgh, Sida tallied 20 kills, five blocks and two aces; and Walsh collected 20 kills, 56 digs and two aces. Bieker added 71 digs and two aces.
