SEYMOUR — Class A No. 3 Trinity Lutheran went 2-1 in its own invitational on Saturday.
The Cougars beat Jennings County 24-26, 25-22, 15-7 and New Washington 25-4, 25-14 before falling to Mitchell 19-25, 25-21, 15-13.
Laura Roeder led the Cougars (14-10) with 37 digs and seven aces. Madison Keith pounded 29 kills, Addie Darlage recorded 69 assists and Carson Bowling had five block asssists.
Also for Trinity, Bowling tallied 21 kills, and Drew Hubbard added 16 kills. Roeder notched eight assists, Keith had four block assists, Darlage collected 34 digs, Presley Meyer served six aces and Kiley Zabel added 28 digs and five aces.
