GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The IUC women’s cross-country team finished 16th out of 18 teams in Saturday’s Great Lakes Classic.
Brett Kleber led the Crimson Pride with a 14th-place finish in 20 minutes, 14 seconds for 5K (3.1 miles). Abby Voss took 110th in 22:34, while Jackie Mouser was 176th (26:46), Delanie Bronner 182nd (31:05) and Morgan Steineker 185th (32:48).
IUC’s lone men’s runner, Jose Martinez, finished 195th in 38:25 for 8K (5 miles).
“It was a very wet and sloppy course and to have all but one person PR is absolutely incredible,” IUC coach Tim Hoeflinger said.
