COLUMBUS
Ronnie Paul McIntyre, 84, of Columbus, died at 3:10 P.M. on October 21st, 2023 at Willow Crossing.
Ronnie was born November 18th, 1938 in Mitchell, Indiana, the son of Paul McIntyre and Lula Bell (Cauble) Hamilton. He married Sue Shirley Terrell on June 1st, 1958.
Ronnie was the owner and operator of Ronnie’s Body Shop and Wrecker Service for 50 years. He was one of the founding members of the Harrison Township Fire Department and attended the New Zion United Methodist Church. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and was passionate about helping the community in times of need. He will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26th, 2023 at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Daryl Gressel officiating the service. Calling will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26th, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Harmony Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Harrison Township Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Shirley (Terrell) McIntyre; son, Darryl (Vicky) McIntyre of Haines City, FL.; daughter, Ronna (Scott) Wilson of Fletcher, NC; brother, Dexter (Mary) McIntyre of Clifford, IN; sister, Linda Kunce of Edinburgh, IN; grandchildren, Jordan (Shelby) McIntyre and Nate McIntyre.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
