There will be a number of closings for election day for city offices on Tuesday. They include:
- Columbus City Hall will be closed.
- All city trash collections will be on schedule including loose leaf collections. The Department of Public Works office will be closed and reopen at 7 a.m. Nov. 8. For more information, visit columbus.in.gov/publicworks.

The Columbus City Utilities will be closed with regular business hours resuming at 7 a.m. Wednesday. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- Bartholomew County offices will be closed.
- The Republic will have normal office hours on Tuesday.
