Ilene Marie Stoughton of Columbus, IN went home to the Lord 1/3/2024
Ilene was born in Columbus, IN November 17, 1936 to Roy & Ila Romine. She married Gene Stoughton February 14, 1953 who proceeded her in death April 27,2006.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Paul, Warren, Roy Jr, & Dick Romine and her sister Norma Haley.
Survivors include a son, Tony Stoughton of Columbus, a daughter Gina (Doug) Campbell of Columbus. 4 grandchildren, Amy Stoughton Berquist (Gary), Travis and Lyle Castetter, Cody Stoughton, 3 great grandchildren Trynten Wicker, Lillian Stoughton, Nayeli Stoughton & several nieces and nephews.
Ilene retired from Irwin Union Bank after 35 years of service. She enjoyed working and continued her employment part time at Irwin Union well after her retirement. She was involved in Euchre Club and loved attending movies, plays, and yearly Christmas Chicago shopping trips with her Irwin Union friends.
There will be a celebration of life at Community Church of Columbus 3850 N. Marr Road in Columbus, IN on Friday, January 5th, with Pastor Mike Mantooth officiating. Visitation from 1:00pm- to service time at 3:00pm
