NORTH VERNON
Lisa Michelle Matthews, 49, of North Vernon, passed away at 1:34 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
Born October 7, 1974, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Edrol Matthews and Marilyn (Day) Terrell.
Lisa graduated from Jennings County High School in 1993 and worked at NAC in North Vernon for several years. She loved shopping, spending time with her friends, and watching movies.
She is survived by her sons, Skyler (Danielle Jones) Matthews of Columbus and Derian Gresham and Bobby (Courtney) Rees, both of North Vernon; mother, Marilyn (Gene) Terrell of North Vernon; brother, Rick (Ileana Juarez) Matthews of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A visitation for Lisa for her family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Dove-Sharp &Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Lisa through the funeral home to help with expenses.
