Glenn Marvin Brazel

Glenn Marvin Brazel, born January 12, 1937, previously of Munster, IN and Fishers, IN, passed away January 6, 2024. He married Vivienne Marovich on January 30, 1960. Glenn was a generous and devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who always prioritized an inclusive family. He was loved by many and touched many lives by his generous nature. He was a great influence on his family and always worked hard to provide for and support them. For most of his professional life Glenn was co-owner with Vivienne of Creative Hairstyling Academy in Highland, IN. Glenn didn’t know a stranger and made everyone feel special. He enjoyed outdoor activities, biking and kayaking daily into his late 70’s. He and Vivienne enjoyed traveling together throughout their retirement years, but their real joy was spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Glenn is survived by his three children Gary (Marie) Brazel of Wolcottville, IN, Cheryl (Darren) Buffo of Columbus, IN, and Gregg Brazel of Detroit, MI. He cherished his grandchildren Kelsey Brazel, Kinsey (Stephen) Pease, Matthew Buffo, Erin Brazel, and Maggie (Garrett) McGaha; great grandchildren Kyah Lynch, Adrianna Jimenez, Amiya Jimenez, Ava Jimenez, and Vivienne Cobb; and his sisters Luella (Lee) D’Arcy and Joan (Donald) Browning, and brother Gilbert Brazel; and many nieces and nephews.

Glenn was preceded in death by parents Ervin and Hazel Brazel, his beloved wife Vivienne, brothers Elmer and Donald Brazel, sisters LaVerne Bachmayer and Karen Brands, and brothers-in-law Raymond Brands and Joseph Bachmayer.

A gathering of family and close friends will be held later in the year in the Munster area. Memorial gifts may be made to Boy’s Town or donor’s charity of choice.
