Sims
Caroline Sims has joined Thrive Alliance as the agency’s Compliance Director.
Sims will provide expertise and leadership related to compliance and quality. The compliance director is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining appropriate programs, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and all state and federal contract requirements.
With more than 30 years of experience in the field, she comes to Thrive Alliance after serving with Our Hospice of South Central Indiana since 2017.
Previous experience includes 30 years with Columbus Regional Health, serving as director of nursing practice from 2013-2017. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University School of Nursing and Ferris State University.
She earned her Ph.D. in nursing from Indiana University and holds a master’s degree in nursing administration from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Indianapolis.
