Whatever the Weather Storytime and Playdate — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Donner Park, 739 22nd St., Columbus. Join library staff at Donner Park for a storytime and playdate that will occur Whatever the Weather. This month, we will be looking for signs of spring around the park with a scavenger hunt, and coloring with sidewalk chalk.

Skill Builders — 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Have fun crafting while we socialize. This month, we will be playing bingo for prizes. Email Sandy Allman at sallman@mybcpl.org to register.
Hope Family Craft Night — 3 to 5 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come out to Hope and make a pasta plant magnet. A cute way to bring in some green for the season.
Teen Watch-It Wednesday — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. March is Disability Awareness Month. March 6’s movies is “How to Train Your Dragon.”
Author Talk — 4 to 5 p.m., online. Nina Totenberg will talk about her nearly 50-year friendship with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her book “Dinners With Ruth: A Memoir on the Power of Friendships.”
State of the City Address — 6 p.m., NexusPark, 2380 25th St., Columbus. Mayor Mary Ferdon will present her first State of the City Address to the community at NexusPark. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the address will begin at 6 p.m. Following the address, a ribbon cutting will be held for the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark. Open to the public.
Native Plant Gardening Workshop — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join Sierra Club members at the BCPL Red Room and we will share how to plan, prepare, and maintain a native plant garden.
