The Moonlight Loop is a leisurely 19-mile evening bike ride around scenic Columbus, Indiana – passing several architectural gems along the way.
Ride starts at 9 p.m. The ride begins and ends in front of the Bartholomew County Public Library/Visitor’s Center Plaza.
Please Note: Because this is a night ride – this is NOT a race, (cyclists primarily travel together as a group) and everyone will depart the start line at 9 p.m.
The Moonlight Loop is a fundraiser for Columbus Animal Care Services (CACS). Funds generated from Moonlight Loop go directly to Friends of Columbus Animal Care Service‘s Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. This fund is NOT supported by city tax dollars and relies entirely on fees, fines, fundraising (like the Moonlight Loop!) and tax-deductible monetary or in-kind donations.
Registration is $30 through May 24, 2024; $35 from May 25 through June 21, 2024; and $40 on race day, June 22, 2024.

Whether you decide to ride or not – you can still be a part of it all by memorializing/honoring a beloved pet (or a special animal-loving human). For a $250 donation, you can have the name of your pet (or favorite animal lover) printed on the back of this year’s Moonlight Loop glow-in-the-dark T-shirt.
To memorialize a deceased pet, honor a current companion, or memorialize an avid animal lover – please visit Columbus Animal Care Services (CACS) at 2730 Arnold St., fill out a short form and provide a check for $250 (make the check payable to: Friends of CACS). Or call 812-376-2505 and they can assist you.
