ST. LEON — East Central pulled out close wins at both doubles spots Monday to claim a 4-1 girls tennis win against Jennings County.
Kaydence Lowman beat Kelsey Scholl 4-6, 6-4, (11-9) at No. 2 singles for the Panthers (7-8).
Jennings’ Tatum Brown fell to Payton Pies 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Trina Collins lost to Ava Vogelgsang 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Sophia Lucas and Gabi Morin fell to Olivia Rosemeyer and Kayla Craig 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles, and Ari Maldonado and Maddy McIntosh lost to Maddie Noel and Eva Steinmetz 7-5, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
