Bartholomew County

Columbus Farmers Market — 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., behind Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St., food, crafts, gifts, entertainment and more, for more information, visit columbusfarmersmarket.org.

Plant Sale — 9 a.m. to noon, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Around 900 plants will be for sale. Cash, check and credit cards (with a processing fee) will be accepted. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, the sale will be pushed back to Saturday, May 25. For more information, visit scimga.org.

Cars & Coffee Cruise In — 9 a.m. to noon, Chevrolet of Columbus, 2825 Merchant Mile, Columbus. All types of vehicles are welcome. Donuts, coffee, hot dogs and more. Corvette Club of Columbus is assisting with this event.

Hooks and Needles Meetup — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. All types of needle crafters are invited to gather, create and socialize. Come hang out, share your project and ideas, or learn a new craft.

Amaltash: Film Screening — Noon to 2:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This film will be screened in Marathi.

50 Years of Chaos! — Noon to 2 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., the 30-foot-tall Chaos sculpture is a regular attraction at the free Chaotic Tuesdays but makes a special appearance for its 50th, the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives will have a special display set up about the piece’s history and there will be children’s crafts. One of the piece’s old metal balls will be on display, since it was removed when it was discovered that the piece actually worked better with one fewer such spheres, also on hand will be the sculpture’s original motherboard, artist’s jumpsuit and toolbox, free admission.

Winding Waters Quilt Show — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Stream Cliff Farms, 8225 South County Road 90W, Commiskey. Everyone welcome. Free admission.
