Bartholomew County

D.I.G. Time — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Drop-in to the garden and get messy with us. We’ll dig in the garden, explore nature, make art, and play.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) 1444 — 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus. Weigh-in at 11:30 a.m., meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Must be a member of Mill Race Center. Call Karen Burbrink at 812-371-9616.

USDA Summer Food Service Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Food must be eaten on site and folks are not permitted to leave with the meals. Meals are free for children 18 years of age and under. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase a meal for $4.70.

Teen Watch-It Wednesday — 1 to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Mystery movie mania all summer long. June 5’s movie is “The Batman.”

Skill Builders — 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Have fun crafting while we socialize. This month, we will be playing bingo for prizes. Email Sandy Allman at sallman@mybcpl.org to register.

Hope Summer Reading Kickoff — 4 to 6 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Solve the crime of boredom on the Hope Town Square. We will kick off Summer Reading with live music, games, crafts, and a scavenger hunt.

Hope Family Craft Night — 4 to 6 p.m., Hope Town Square, Hope. To follow along with our mystery theme for Summer, make a “I Spy” craft with Shelly at the kickoff party on the town square.

Permaculture in Your Backyard — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join Cora Reinbort to discuss permaculture to make the most of the land you have.
