About 500 workers at the two Faurecia facilities in Columbus were participating in their workplace’s FUELS — “Faurecia Unites with Employees for Local Service” — program, where they gathered nonperishable food items for Love Chapel and participated in community events.
1999
Seven Columbus Regional Hospital rehabilitation patients — Charlie Critzer, James Biddle, Anna Brunson, E. Dewayne Burton, Chad Guffey, Michelle Hardin and Flossie Morgan — were recognized by Mayor Fred Armstrong and staff at CRH for their determination and courage. Each person received a plaque engraved with “Whatever it Takes.”

Regina Crawhorn was crowned Queen of the Edinburgh Walnut Festival, and Anthony Dinn and Edwina Burton were crowned as Prince and Princess.
