It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Patsy Bo Welch.

Cherished wife, mother, grandmother and devoted friend, she touched the lives of so many.Patsy was born on August 28th, 1935 to Howard and Mary Rose Scott in Clear Spring Indiana. She was an only child. She married the love of her life, John Welch, on New Years Day 1954.

Blessed with two daughters, Lisa Welch and Gayla (David) Kane and one son Jeffrey-deceased(Jill-deceased) Welch. She considered her grandchildren to be the lights of her life, Cameron Welch-deceased, Daniel ( Emily ) Welch, Seth Crossland-deceased, Peri (Henry) Stevens and Grace Kane.

Patsy was a passionate gardener and excellent at flower arrangement. This deep rooted appreciation for God’s beauty blossomed throughout her life. Her dedication to nurturing nature mirrored her overall giving spirt. Through her heartfelt traditions and her unwavering support to the ones she loved, her feisty spirit will always live on. Patsy was a deeply faithful woman. Her love for teaching God’s word was evident whether she was teaching children and young adults in Bible School or simply sharing a scripture during a casual conversation. Rarely daunted by life, she had an unabashed confidence that her passing would lead her to the splendor of God’s Kingdom.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Community Church of Columbus.

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 12:00 p.m. to the time of service at the church. She will be laid to rest at the Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
