Linda Lou Pantoja

NASHVILLE

Linda L. Pantoja of 2754 S Shepherd Rd. Nashville, Indiana died on Monday, November 18th at 11:55 a.m. surrounded by her husband and children. Linda was 73 years old.

A Brown County native, Linda was born on February 23, 1951, to Clayton J. Banks and Dolly H. (Roberts) Banks. Linda worked as a registered nurse for the Franklin Masonic Home until she could no longer work due to physical health issues.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Manuel; daughter, Trina Law, both of Nashville, twins, Manny (Anna Jones) Pantoja II of French Lick, Melissa (Pantoja) Hunter of Columbus, and stepdaughter, Katherine Pantoja, also of Nashville.

Grandchildren, Michael Law of Indianapolis, Linda Nichole Law, Daphne (Ryan) Law, both of Nashville, Andrew Law of Columbus, Lola Pantoja, Manny Pantoja III, Jolie Pantoja and Phoenix Pantoja all of French Lick. DaShawn Hunter of Kansas, Aaron Hunter of Bloomington, and Brea Hunter of Ft. Stewart, Georgia. One great grandson, Derek Law also of Nashville; sisters, Sandra (Harold) Summers and Catherine (Mike) Huckaby, both of Columbus, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents; brothers, Larry Banks, Robert White, James White, and sister, Mary Ayres.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Pastor Harold Summers officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Linda will be laid to rest at the Brown County Memorial Park Cemetery in Nashville, Indiana, near both her parents and brother, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam, Larry Banks.

The family would like to thank Trina Law for providing the in-home nursing care for Linda until her passing, and all of the family and friends who have reached out to offer their support during this difficult time.
