High School Heroes, students from Columbus North and East high schools, visited Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. elementary schools to talk to fifth-graders about the dangers of smoking. The lesson was part of the American Cancer Society’s Great American Smokeout.

Santa Claus arrived at the Fair Oaks Mall, along with a line of around 100 children and parents. Santa planned to be a regular at the mall through Christmas.
