Columbus Star Quilters — 9:30 a.m. to noon, First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. The last meeting of the year will include as short business meeting, block exchange and pitch-in luncheon. New and experienced quilters are invited to attend. Preschool Dance Class with Megan — 10 to 10:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 2 to 5 are invited to dance with local dance teacher, Megan. Caregivers will stay in the room with their dancers. Join the wait list on the library website.
Crafts and Cocoa — 4 to 6 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff and their community partners for crafts, hot cocoa and winter cheer.
A Not So Silent Night — 4 to 8 p.m., Downtown Columbus, 500 Washington St., Columbus. Will include food, sleigh rides, visits with Santa, music and an Elf Hunt Riddle to solve. Downtown merchants will have extended business hours.
Transformers — 6 to 7 p.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus. This group welcomes children and families who are grieving a loss. Families will receive resources/topics the Monday prior to the Thursday meeting. Meets in person on the first and third Thursdays of each month from in Room 2164. Holiday Wreath Making Class — 6:30 to 8 p.m., District Six Event Space, 1395 W. County Road 200S, Columbus. Create wreathes out of fresh evergreens, and decorate with pinecones, berries, ribbons and more. Tickets are $75 per person.
