Supporters of Pregnancy Care Centers of South Central Indiana gave $42,089 during Giving Tuesday. Three local anonymous donors matched the first $20,000 donated dollar for dollar.

Columbus Christian Church Women’s Club hosted a brunch at Harrison Lake Country Club that was open to all women. Soloist Donalyn Bratton performed and spoke about being a “Contended Mid-lifer.”
1974
Herbert Boeschen, who helped develop the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds and Mill Race Park, was named the 1974 recipient of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce’s Community Service Award. Scott Doup, the 1973 winner, presented Boeschen with the award.
