Breakfast with Santa — 8 to 11 a.m., St. Johns Masonic Lodge, 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus. The third annual breakfast will include pancakes, sausage and donuts, plus pictures with Santa. Good will donations accepted. Information: 812-376-3266.

Holiday Market — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Church, 7850 W. Goeller Blvd., Columbus. Features artisan and non-profit vendors, sweet treats, a homemade soup and dessert lunch, a cookie walk and a children’s makerspace for holiday gifts. Everyone is welcome.

South Central Indiana Christian Men’s Fellowship — 9:45 a.m., Burnsville Christian Church, 2891 S. County Road 900E, Columbus. Minister Reeves Flint will be the speaker, with the theme of “Let Your Light Shine.” A breakfast of donuts, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice will begin at 9 a.m. before the meeting.

Ivy Tech Columbus Biology Nature Hike — 10 a.m., Laura Hare Nature Preserve, Valley Branch Road, Nashville. Ivy Tech Columbus professor Tim Sobat will lead the hike exploring trails within this Sycamore Land Trust property and providing information about winter bird counts. The college will have some binoculars available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars if they have them. For more information, contact Sobat at tsobat@ivytech.edu.

Holiday Pops — 3 to 5 p.m., Judson Erne Auditorium, 1400 25th St., Columbus. The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, the Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir and Philharmonic Chorus will perform transcendent anthems, classical holiday favorites and sing-along carols. Tickets are $55. Festival of Lights — 6 p.m., Downtown Columbus, 500 Washington St., Columbus. Watch the lighted parade from the streets of downtown Columbus.
