Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana Inc. announced its plans to build a second retail store and donation center in Columbus on the city’s west side. The 15,600-square-foot store was set to open by summer 2015.

Thomas Brook, an administrator from Corydon, replaced Kevin Caress as the superintendent for Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp. Caress left to become superintendent of Community Schools of Frankfort.
