Christmas Open House and Cocktail — 1 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Inn at Irwin Gardens, 608 Fifth St., Columbus. Polar Express — 3 to 5 p.m., kidscommons, 309 Washington St., Columbus. Includes a reading of “The Polar Express,” hot chocolate, holiday crafts and reindeer games. The Gift of the Nativity — 3 to 8 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4850 W. Goeller Blvd., Columbus. Come and enjoy over 200 nativity displays. Set in a beautiful Christmas setting, make this free community event a cherished holiday tradition.
