Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. trustees on Monday night approved board officers, community liasion positions and appointments to various local government boards for 2025.
It was the first time the group of school members convened since adding Whittney Loyd, District 3, and Tom Glick, District 5, after the fall elections. All of the appointments are for one year.
Nikki Wheeldon, District 7, will be school board president, Rich Stenner, District 2, vice president, and Dale Nowlin, District 4, secretary this year. That slate was approved 4-3 with board members Glick, Jason Major, District 1, and Logan Schulz, District 6, voting against.
The board also approved the following appointments:

- Districting & Facilities Committee: Rich Stenner
- Diversity Leadership Council: Nikki Wheeldon
- Business Advisory: Rich Stenner
- High Ability Broad Based Committee: Dale Nowlin
- Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation: Whittney Loyd
- Corporation Continuous Improvement Council: Logan Schulz
- Education Hall of Fame Committee: Logan Schulz
- Indiana School Boards Association Delegate Assembly: Dale Nowlin
- Indiana School Boards Association Legislative Liaison: Dale Nowlin
- IU Columbus Advisory Board: Dale Nowlin
- Superintendent Advisory Council: Tom Glick
- Council for Youth Development: Whittney Loyd
- District Wellness Council: Tom Glick
- Bartholomew County Redevelopment Commission: Nikki Wheeldon
- City of Columbus Redevelopment Commission: Jason Major
