The Republican Party today no longer believes in the Reagan style of conservatism.
The Republicans in Congress know that today Trump has complete control of the party. They know that now they must conduct their business in a manner that must have Trump’s approval or he will primary them to lose their seat in next election.
Trump is trying to form our government to resemble Putin’s form of rule in Russia. Putin rules Russia with the help of designated 10 oligarch billionaires. They keep order throughout Russia and stamp out any uprising that may occur. Trump has started to form his own group of billionaires. Elon Musk, richest person in the world, donated $250 million to Trump’s campaign, and now has become Trump’s right-hand man. Marc Zuckerberg, owner of Facebook, has accepted Trump’s wish to no longer fact check messages posted on Facebook. Thus Trump and his supporters can now post misinformation that will benefit their goals, and write negative messages about the Democrats. Other billionaires are considering joining Trump.
Trump is also following Putin by wanting to expand America’s sphere of influence. He wants to take control over three of our major allies? He wants to purchase the Panama Canal for security reasons. He also wants to purchase the Island of Greenland which is currently owned by Denmark. He has already sent Don Jr. for a visit. And as crazy as it seems, Trump also wants our country to make Canada our 51st state.
But all three have rebelled against Trump’s plan. With our country having a $36 trillion deficit, how can Trump finance these endeavors?
Thankfully, the Republicans in the House and the Senate have only a 3-4 majority, making it difficult for Republicans alone to pass any bill. But Trump had Senate Republicans to pass a no debt limit bill by using reconciliation which requires just a majority of 51 votes instead of 60 votes.
Thus Trump now has no restriction on how much debt he can add to our national debt. In Trump’s first term he increased the national debt by $8.1 trillion. If Trump spends billions to purchase countries, along with giving huge tax cuts to the rich and corporations, the national debt will soar. Trump is also trying to manage our federal government like he managed his private business where having some debt could be a benefit. But even in the private sector Trump broke the law by overstating the value of his property that he uses as collateral to borrow money, and understating the value of the property when he has to pay his property tax.
For years extremists of the Republican Party have been designing a plan called Project 2025 developed by the Heritage Foundation. The final goal of Project 2025 is to concentrate power in the government. It calls for the ” Entire Federal Bureaucracy to be Placed Under Presidential Control.” If you care about America, you should read Project 2025 on the internet.
