Columbus Elks Lodge #521 raised a total of $17,500 through a combination of local fund-raising events and grants received from the Elks Nation Foundation.
Of these funds, $15,000 was used to support 120 children in 48 families throughout the community. The lodge also donated $2,500 to The Bartholomew County Heritage Fund Community Foundation.
The mission of the Elks National Foundation is to help Elks build stronger communities.
