Taiko Thunder: The Art of Japanese Drumming — 2 to 4 p.m., Crump Theater, 425 Third St., Columbus. Southern Indiana Taiko will showcase a display of full-body drumming based in Japanese tradition, with special guests Eddie Yates and Mark H. Rooney. For the Young and the Young at Heart — 3:30 to 5 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus. Along with a performance by the winner of the 2025 Laura Showalter Youth Concerto Competition, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra will present an evening of favorites inspired by the young, school settings and even graduation day.
