Bull Dogs capture Conference Indiana title

BLOOMINGTON — Columbus North captured the Conference Indiana gymnastics championship Monday night.

The Bull Dogs scored a 107.85 team total. Bloomington North finished second with a 105.75, and host Bloomington South was third with a 102.45.

Reese Euler won the vault (9.3), bars (9.55) and floor (9.45) and took second on the beam (9.0) on her way to winning the all-around competition with a 37.3.

Hayden Harper finished second on the vault (9.2), third on the bars (8.8), fourth on the floor (9.15) and fifth on the beam (8.8) in taking second in the all-around with a 36.65.

Hannah Perry placed fourth on the vault (9.0), and Emerson Chambers took fourth on the bars (8.65). Ellie McIntier was fifth on the vault (8.,7) and sixth on the bars (8.55).

North will host crosstown rival Columbus East on Thursday in a match that was rescheduled from early in the season.
