March on the 5K — 9 a.m., Noblitt Park, 17th Street and Lawton Avenue, Columbus. Hosted by Northstars Run Club, the event will include a 1.5K, 3K and 5K. Registration and information: northstarsrun.wordpress.com.

American Sewing Guild — 9 to 11 a.m., location varies. This sewing group welcomes all skill levels and meets monthly to learn new sewing skills, network with other and participate in community sewing projects. Spot Me Team Weight Lifting Competition — 10 a.m. to noon, Columbus East High School, 230 S. Marr Road, Columbus. Support the senior project of Deacon Sims by participating in the Spot Me weightlifting competition. Proceeds will contribute to funding a new girls record board for the Columbus East weight room. There will be three events. Squat, Bench and Clean. Teams will have 20 minutes to max out on each lift. Cost is $10. Registration and information: www.eventbrite.com.

IAC International Women’s Day 2025 — 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Fairfield Inn & Suites, 2820 Merchants Mile, Columbus. The Indian Association of Columbus will celebrate International Women’s Day with an event including a fashion show, panel discussion, dance workshop and food. For ages 13-and-over. Tickets are $25. Stained Glass Workshop: Level 1, 2 & 3 — 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Create a stained glass piece with personalized guidance. Mardi Gras Trivia Night — 6 to 10 p.m., St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 1306 27th St., Columbus. Will include general trivia, hors d’eoeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction, 50/50 and more. The winning team will receive a cash prize. Tickets are $30 per person or $200 for a table of eight. Proceeds will benefit St. Bartholomew Friends of Haiti ALFA Literacy.
