North Star Montessori students in first through fifth grades built a replica papier-mâché Spinosaurus under the direction of teacher Mark Van Dyk. The replica stood at 18 feet long — 20% of the size of the real dinosaur.

2000

The Tri-County Builders Association hosted a Home and Garden Show at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, with displays including floor covering and installation, interior design, irrigation systems and more.

1975

The Columbus North High School basketball team won its second straight sectional title with an 84-50 victory over Hauser. The Bull Dogs were set to face Martinsville in the regional tournament.
