McKain to keynote Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting

COLUMBUS — The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce announced that national speaker Scott McKain will address the business community at its annual meeting, presented by Centra Credit Union.

The chamber event starts at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26 at The Commons. The annual meeting is the community’s largest business event of the year.

The chamber will celebrate the accomplishments of our community with the presentation of this year’s Community Awards, recognizing outstanding leadership, businesses, and contributions that make Columbus thrive.

McKain, who was raised in Jackson County and worked in Bartholomew County early in his career, will challenge us to rethink our approach to success with his thought-provoking presentation, “What to Do When ‘Great’ Isn’t Good Enough to Grow Your Business.”

In addition to the keynote presentation, the chamber will bestow prestigious awards at this event including the Edna V. Folger Teacher of the Year Award, Excellence in Business Award, the Project of the Year Award, and the Community Service Award.
