BLOOMINGTON — Columbus North’s boys and girls track teams opened the outdoor season with losses at Bloomington South Tuesday. The Panthers won the boys meet 84-34 and the girls meet 63-55.
Jace Works led the Bull Dog boys with wins in the 1,600 (4 minutes, 19.85 seconds) and 800 (1:58.52). Owen Russell took the 110 hurdles (15.76).
Winners for the North girls were Sierra Newell in the pole vault (9 feet), Emma Haston in the high jump (5-3), Emerson Chambers in the 100 hurdles (15.30), Natalie Rohm in the 300 hurdles (51.42) and Carys Glyn-Jones in the 800 (2:21.23).
