Orchids to

Marc Rape for his letter to the editor about retired teachers becoming mentors for new teachers.

Richard Gold for his powerful letter to the editor about the president’s goal of “winning,” and what the disastrous results will be for our country if he achieves his goal.

the old guy who had nine-straight quarters of stock gains and job growth that was lost in eight short weeks.

the person who anonymously paid for my meal at the McDonald’s drive thru on U.S. 31.

Curtis DeClue for his column, which was reflective of the value of USAID foreign assistance programs.

those who remember that Ukraine still needs the support of the U.S. in its fight against a dictator with his eyes on world domination, Putin.

the nice gentleman who paid for my purchases as Walmart on Whitfield Drive on Thursday.

Onions to

conservatives who were obsessed with Obama during the first reign and now are obsessed with Biden in this current reign.

the city and county for ignoring the homeless situation that has gotten so bad, people are drowning in floodwaters.

not realizing that while raising tariffs causes us not to buy many foreign goods, those countries still have plenty of other places in the world to sell them.

the House passing the SAVE Act, requiring your name to match the name on your birth certificate to register to vote, disenfranchising women voters who change their name when getting married.

the wannabe dictator for manipulating the markets with the flip-flopping on-again off-again tariffs, allowing the billionaires to further enrich themselves at the expense of the rest of Americans.

the president who took a great economy and trashed it, along with the dollar, our country’s reputation and credit rating, it normally takes much longer to achieve such national devastation.

all who used inside information concerning the pause in tariffs to make stock purchases that netted them thousands.

every politician that is caught lying.

all the elected political people espousing the death of the president and Elon Musk, which is not acceptable.

the administration making the U.S. and the world a world of chaos because of the tariffs and other policies, and draining the 401Ks and people’s savings.

Happy Birthday to
