SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran won four matches in straight sets Monday in claiming a 4-1 girls tennis win against Shawe Memorial.
Presley Meyer blanked Noemie Rubiou 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Autumn Hanners beat Nora May 7-5, 7-6 (2) at No. 3 singles for the Cougars (4-3). Carson Bowling and Emily Keller topped Julia Leutherman and Sumara Duquette 7-5, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Liza Vaughn and Cali Fox defeated Lucy Wilhelm and Malarie Boswell 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Trinity’s Katie Malone fell to Kelly McClure 2-6, 6-4, (10-3) at No. 1 singles.
